  1. I have a domain name,TaylorMadeMinistries.com, where I am interested in starting a web ministry that will provide Christian based information as well as a platform, such as a message board, that will allow a venue for comments or contacts in encouraging a web-based Christian fellowship. At this time I only have the idea, but I do not know how to get started. I appreciate your suggestion and service.

  2. There are a lot of options when it comes to starting a web ministry. Perhaps one of the best ways to build the type of Internet community you are describing would be to start a blog. On a blog you can write articles and then people can comment on them. You can encourage others to write articles for your site as well. I see that your domain name is parked with GoDaddy. You could get one of their hosting plans started, about $50 a year and start a blog using wordpress, which is free software and very easy to work with. You could start a blog on blogger or wordpress.com for free and you could point your domain name to one the sites you create there. You could hire us to get it started for you and train you on how to operate it, which would cost around $350 for a nice site. You may want to start out with one of the free options (blogger.com or wordpress.com) and see if a blog is the way to go for you.
